Job Description:
- Support supervisor on inventory tracking management i.e. ensure accuracy of goods consumed, reporting on stock balance upon request from Sales and Procurement, inspect returned merchandize, monitor goods movement, conduct “cycle-count” in a timely manner, process credit note, quantity adjustment in system of perishable items etc.
- Manage space allocation of warehouse and off-site to ensure that space utilization is at its optimal level.
- Assist supervisor on providing inventory reports to support monthly “cycle-count” and annual financial audit.
- Assist supervisor on problem-solving / troubleshooting on daily picklist and inventory issues
- Assist to supervise and ensure that all warehouse activities are in accordance with the general guidelines of Halal and in-house GWP standards.
- Assist in shipping operations and documentation i.e. prepare full sets of import and export documents (invoice, packing list, COO, B/L, insurance, L/C etc.), schedule and book freight to ensure timely delivery, coordinate containers docking with forwarders and warehouse in-charge, prepare samples as per request by SFA etc.
- Verify overseas and local receiving quantity against PO and arrange for payment requisition on a timely manner
- Raise matters to respective department for claims when off-specs goods received for overseas shipments
- Report all non-conformity matters to supervisor.
- To implement ways and technique on improving overall efficiency and overcome inventory issues.
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain & Management or its equivalent
- Relevant working experience in wholesale distribution and warehousing
- Experience working with SFA and MUIS; good working knowledge of HACCP, GWP
- Well versed with Export Shipping Procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of SAP system will be added advantage
- Displays the ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time; works well under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills with the attributes of a team player and a keen eye for details.
- Able to work independently; possess a positive attitude and learning mindset.
