Job Description:

Respond to emergency situations promptly and to perform system upgrades after office hour/ weekends where necessary
To be on-site at the office assigned by the Board during office hours (between 8.30 am and 6.00 pm on any Monday to Friday which is a Working Day or any other Working Day arrangement to be established and jointly agreed upon). However, the engineer is required to respond to any incident on 24 hours, 7 days a week basis, and report onsite within 2 hours.
To work with Board’s operations team to perform day to day operational management tasks for the Server environment as listed in Table 1. The operational tasks may be carried out outside of the Working Day arrangement established above and the engineer would be compensated with the corresponding off-in-lieu accordingly.
To perform Server administration, provisioning and configuration tasks for the in-scope Server environment as listed in Table 1.
To participate in change management, Server capacity measurement and planning.
To manage and maintain the in-scope environment patches, security vulnerability, scan and recommendations for security fixes.
To generate Server operational reports using available tools.
To assist with incident management: log calls with Server support and perform follow-ups.

Requirements:

Have at least 5-10 years of experience in providing IT infrastructure and application installation and administration in Hypervisor (VMware) operating systems/ platforms/ products in an Enterprise environment
Have good experience in troubleshooting and incident management and ability to establish root causes investigation
Have experience in technical hardware and software upgrade and able to apply good understanding of system security and operation risks
