RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, publish monthly KPIs on supplier performance
- Conduct QBR meetings with key suppliers
- Work with Suppliers upfront to enhance quality level to prevent and reduce defective ratio
- Liaise with Suppliers on any quality issues for corrective and preventive solutions
- Initiate and drive quality and productivity improvement projects with good problem solving skill
- Perform capability study and failure analysis
- Involve in new product implementation that involves suppliers
- Perform internal and external quality audits
- Initiate, lead and follow through on closure of CARs with suppliers and internal stake holders
- Assist in the evaluation of new or existing SOPs
- Meet quality objectives set by management & comply to all QMS requirement
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of quality experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of quality experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-driven individual with a positive learning attitude
- Background in manufacturing industry is an advantage
- Basic knowledge in FMEA, Control Plan, Quality Plan, QC Seven Tools, CAPA Methodology (i.e. 8D, 5-whys, Fish-bone etc)
- Certified internal and/or external auditor per ISO9001
- Good understanding of APIQ1 requirements
- Candidates with insufficient experience may be considered
