Working Hours:
Day Shift: Weekdays – 0800hr to 2000hr
Alternate Saturday – 0800hr to 1700hr
Night Shift: Weekdays – 2000hr to 0800hr
Alternate Saturday – 1700hr to 0000hr
Job Description:
- Prepare project quality plans and inspection test plans
- Prepare welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests
- Prepare quality control procedures and repairs procedures for welding
- Conduct stage wise inspections like material, fit up, visual, bolt tightening, painting for fabrication and erection works
- To ensure internal quality controls are in place and being maintained properly
- Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures delivered to the factory
- Proper QA/QC documentation for all materials delivered to the factory, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instructions/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
Job Requirements:
- Rotating monthly shift is required. Night shift allowance will be given on alternate month basis
- At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Any one of the Welding Inspector Certificate (CWI, Certified by American Welding Society, AWS QC-1 or CSWIP 3.1 –TWI) is required
- Minimum 3 years of QA/QC inspection experience
- Candidate will be stationed at our factory located at Sungei Kadut
- Willing to support overtime or urgent request during rest days or public holiday
