Responsibilities:
- Perform design from schematic capture, footprint creation, placement, routing to
- Gerber generation.
- Work as to team to undertake product engineering and design
- Provide technical expertise and product design to customers.
- Liaise with vendors.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical proposals and
- decisions
- Verify new internal design tools and feedback to development team
- Develop design process to reduce design cycle time and to terminate defect.
- Create design and manufacturing documents
- Physical design (parts placement, routing, TLA, verification etc.)
- Liaise with contract manufacturers to turn-around prototypes, engineering samples and for mass-production
Requirements:
- Diploma / B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 3~5 years Design experience is essential.
- Experience in complex design of up to 10 layers
- Proficiency in PADS, Mentor Graphics Expedition, AutoCAD & CAM350 is essential;
- Details oriented and can take initiative to perform in a fast paced work environment
- without needing step-by-step defined work instructions
