Job Description:
- Operate and manage service provider network, which include monitoring of system alarms, troubleshooting and resolving service-related complaints from customers
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as configuration changes and software upgrade
- Liaise with peering partners to perform peering setup and testing
- Ensure the network is configured to address cyber security related vulnerabilities and meet the cyber security hardening requirements
- Review, evaluate and implement platform to optimise network operations. This includes monitoring of network health status and automation of configuration management
- Perform standby and shift duties
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Engineering, IT or Computer Science
- Software scripting/programming knowledge and experience
- Good knowledge of data communication networks and technologies
- Good knowledge of Linux and virtualisation technologies
- Experienced in using open-source software (MRTG, Cacti, FreeRadius, Rancid, Nagios, etc)
- Working experiences with Juniper Networks’ equipment would be an advantage
