Job Description:
- Oversees and coordinates the security unit’s day-to-day user support activities, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of user problems and concerns with respect to current represented solution and technology.
- Oversees and coordinates the implementation of projects and work requests with our vendors.
- Supervises the team – Information Security Engineers which includes recommendations for hiring, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
- Prepares and delivers or oversees delivery of formal and informal training and instruction to our Core Clients as well as to the Security Team.
- To plan, coordinate, and oversee the design, development, and management of all customers security requirements, as appropriate to the needs and value add to better serve our clients.
- As appropriate to the position, participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the security unit; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance efficient operations.
- Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

- Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise especially in CheckPoint Solution.

- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
- Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery systems and procedures.
- Ability to prepare and write technical procedures and documentation manuals.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
- Ability to perform acceptance testing on all represented solution appliances.
- Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively to groups.
