Job Description:

  1. Oversees and coordinates the security unit’s day-to-day user support activities, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of user problems and concerns with respect to current represented solution and technology.
  2. Oversees and coordinates the implementation of projects and work requests with our vendors.
  3. Supervises the team – Information Security Engineers which includes recommendations for hiring, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution.
  4. Prepares and delivers or oversees delivery of formal and informal training and instruction to our Core Clients as well as to the Security Team.
  5. To plan, coordinate, and oversee the design, development, and management of all customers security requirements, as appropriate to the needs and value add to better serve our clients.
  6. As appropriate to the position, participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the security unit; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance efficient operations.
  7. Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
  8. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
  • Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise especially in CheckPoint Solution.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Knowledge of data security and disaster recovery systems and procedures.
  • Ability to prepare and write technical procedures and documentation manuals.
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
  • Ability to perform acceptance testing on all represented solution appliances.
  • Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information effectively to groups.
