Responsibilities:
- Follow-up with all related parties on design, fabrication, assembly and quality issues on Prototype (PT) and FA (First Article) qualification on NPI products.
- Communicate with customer and liaise with cross functional Sales/Project/QA/Engineering/Manufacturing team.
- Perform Module & Box Level assembly DFA/DFM.
- Handling multiple NPI projects and tasks assigned.
- Review product documentation release on new/modified module and box level assembly.
- Support/provide analytical assessment and solutions on assembly problems to customers’/internal on new launch products and fabrication processes.
- Review and conduct risk analysis with cross-functional team on new product qualification/reliability plan.
Requirements:
- degree in Engineering or equivalent preferably in the field of mechanical/precision engineering for technical projects.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in new product introduction (NPI) environment.
- Knowledge in Solidworks, GD&T, Module & Box level assembly, BOM structure for assembly process.
- Knowledge in performing DFA/DFM, PFMEA/DFMEA.
- Knowledge in product design environment, interpreting design intent for DFM and DFA.
- Hands On experience in mechanical assembly, test setup and measurement tools ( Calipers, Micrometre, Dial Indicator, Height Gauge, Smartscope )
- Good problem solving skills based on conceptual, analytical thinking and systematic approach in a fast pace environment.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple task and manage projects.
- Background in precision engineering/advanced manufacturing industry, quality assurance will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / ISO13485/ Supplier Auditing experience.
