Job Description:

• Execute cybersecurity roadmap of the organization is in accordance with the Cybersecurity framework.
• Implement and ensure cyber security standards, procedures and guidelines are adhered to.
• Review the perimeter and internal security controls of the organization and implement appropriate security software to mitigate security risks and control gaps.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to prevent, detect and remediate cyber security threats.
• Assess compliance to security requirements of new applications software and services.
• Monitor cyber security landscape and threats, keeping management updated of potential upcoming threats that will affect the organization.
• Investigate and remediate cyber security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment, provide remediation recommendations and follow up on implementation.
• Promote cyber security awareness by conducting training and simulation exercises.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer science or equivalent
• Preferred industry qualifications – CISSP / CISA / CRISC / SABSA
• Broad knowledge of a wide range of Information Technology systems and a deep understanding of the inherent security risks associated with these technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience working as a security engineer/ manager.
• A good understanding of IT networking and access management concepts.
• Ability to understand and assess technology systems and applications from both a technical and business function perspective.
• Ability to communicate business and technical risk to all levels of audience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and influence teams.
• Strong organizational and problem- solving skills.
