Responsibilities

Group

  • Oversee/handle day to day operational and treasury matters
  • Prepare group consolidation financial statements & XBRL submission etc
  • Ensure timely reporting to Head Office in Dubai
  • Prepare management report by line of service and provide variance analysis
  • Data management to safeguard the company’s assets and interests
  • Review/Handle quarterly submission of GST, annual tax submission and compliance matters
  • Other tasks include monitoring the financial position, financial performance and cash flows of the company; revising any discrepancies of reports; and checking the company’s assets and liabilities that could affect its equity in the future
  • Supervise a team of accounting staff
  • Continuous improvement on process re-engineering
  • Support any other ad-hoc duties/projects as required

Regional

  • Support Regional headquarter function such as recharges of cost etc.
  • Performance review and analysis and cashflow management
  • Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements, financial accounting regulations etc.
  • Perform root-cause variance analysis and provide recommendation for resolution

Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting/Finance/ACCA
    • Minimum more than 8 years of relevant experience with Big 4 experience & freight forwarding background will be advantageous
    • Extensive knowledge in fast-paced technologies and accounting programs
    • Strong analytical and accounting technical skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Time management and organizational skills
    • Problem solving and analytical skills; must excel at identifying and defining clearly problems, evaluating different ideas/options to solve the problems, and making decisions on the best solutions
    • Proficient computer skills such as Microsoft Office is necessary and Dynamics Axapta 365 (DAX) will be a plus knowledge
    • Able to agile in a fast-paced working environment, strong teamwork & hardworking
    • Able to multi-task, organize, prioritize work and communicate effectively with staff at all levels
    • Willing to travel overseas 10%
    • Able to start work within a short notice
