Responsibilities:
- Planning and design Civil and Ground Improvement works
- Conduct soil investigation and perform studies on bore holes
- Collect site records of bore logs from contractor and do analysis on soil and rocks
- Conduct laboratory tests and prepare design works
- Design process for reloading (Surcharge), calculation for vertical drain spacing versus settlement soil investigation
- Prepare soil investigation reports including geological settings, field results of in-situ tests
- Update daily processed data on reports and maps
- Reviewing & verifying all civil & structural related engineering works & comply with requirements
- Attending site inspections and project meetings
- Co-ordination with consultants, client & parties involved
- Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 year experience in construction industry
- Possess planning, organizational and supervision skills and able to meet demanding work schedules
- Independent, self-motivated and responsible individual with good working attitude
- Knowledge of engineering software and Auto CAD
