Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design electrical and control systems based on industry standards, good engineering practices and contractual requirements
- Perform design/sizing/selection/integration of electrical and control system components
- Design and produce electrical construction drawings, BOM and PLC program
- Carry out function testing/troubleshooting/commissioning in factory as well as in container terminals
- Provide engineering support/advice to Sales, After-Sales and Production department and conduct user training when required
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Experience in design of electrical controls, preferably in heavy industries such as cranes and construction equipment
- Knowledge and experience in PLC programming and any electrical design software such as EPlan, AutoCAD etc. are essential
- Knowledge in any field bus (profibus, interbus, CAN open, ASI etc) will be an advantage
- Experience in design set-ups, component selection, testing and troubleshooting preferred
