Job Description:
- Responsible for the planning and design of data center resources, including demand analysis, global Data Center site selection, Data Center infrastructure technical analysis, Edge Data Center planning, Data Center power management planning and other detailed plans
- Cooperate with the procurement team to obtain various technical information of the data center and form internal data Database, technical docking and be able to communication directly with data center suppliers
- Working with products and finally forming a data center planning and construction schedule according to the budget and product plans, supervising the resource delivery progress and making appropriate interventions
- Organize the existing data center infrastructure resources, track of resource usage and trends, compliance with corporate strategic needs, etc.,
- Continuously and systematically optimize the existing data center resources, including the optimization and adjustment of data center resources and structure, include of Supplement new resources, Data Hall layout adjustments, relocation of computer rooms, etc.,
- Organize and issue detailed optimization and improvement plans.
- Compile basic methods and rules such as related planning procedures, design specifications, technical specifications, and architecture models for data center resource planning, and systematically optimize the company’s resource structure and competitiveness in the data center field
Requirements:
- Experience in telecom, data center, or cloud industry.
- Degree graduate or above in business communication, computer, electrical or related field.
- 3 years or above of related working experience in data center planning, design, cooperation, or procurement jobs.
- Holding CDCP, CDCS and other data center related planning and design professional certifications are preferred.
- Professional knowledge in data center infrastructure, including high and low voltage power, Cooling system, fire protection, Data center cabling and network, infrastructure maintenance, etc., fully understand data center design and construction standards;.
- Well organized, detail oriented, and responsible.
