Responsibilities:
- Follow up on shipments’ status with overseas stations and airlines, e.g. tracking of Purchasing Order and liaising with shipper and counterpart for shipment pick up, destination agents for Door Deliveries
- Contact shippers/consignees for cargo collection/delivery ensuring that payment is collected for COD customers
- Flight booking, transport arrangements to meet customers’ requirements
- Attend to all customers’ inquiries, acting as 1 contact point resolving all customers’ related matters
- Handling all enquiries/rates quotation from/to overseas offices/agents
- Arrange collection of AWB with carriers and co-loaders
- Work closely with internal sales and operations departments to meet customers’ requirements
- Job creation in Freight Management System
- Calling existing customers for additional trade lanes
- Any other duties assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- GCE “O” Levels or Diploma Holder
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in similar freight forwarding capacity with strong air freight knowledge
- Tradenet / CCN / FWB knowledge is mandatory
- Candidate with DG Certificate is a bonus
- Candidate to be a team player, fast worker with initiatives and positive working attitude
- Candidates able to start immediately will be considered with priority
