Job Description:
- Develop Test Automation framework for Automatic Fare Collection Systems (AFCS).
- Design and write test automation scripts on new and existing software
- Execute and maintain automation test scripts/suites in support with updates in requirements and/or design.
- Investigate problems in software as a result of automation testing.
- Design and convert existing manual test cases to fit into the test automation solution.
- Prepare test environment where automation will be in place.
- Contribute in improving test performance and efficiency by identifying areas that can be addressed by automation.
- Conduct automation test reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience in programming languages, such as C++, C#, Java and/or Python.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Test Automation Engineer or Test Automation Developer.
- Recognised degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering.
- Experience in designing test automation framework is highly preferred.
- Experience in defining test automation strategy across application landscape covering E2E flows and regression
- Able to work well both independently as well as in a team.
- Possess a strong interest and self-motivation to pick up new technical skills whenever necessary.
- Functional testing knowledge in micro-payment or Automatic Fare Collection systems using Smart Cards is an advantage.
