Job descriptions:

  1. Attend end-to-end Site survey for End-Customer Service order;
  2. Carry out fibre patching at the End-Customer’s Premises and cross connect patching within the Data Centre and test the fibre loss to ensure readings are good;
  3. Install and commission the following End-Customer Services before the Customer Requested Date (“CRD”):
  4. Elite Service;
  5. DigiPlus and copper DigiLink service;
  6. ISDN 10/30 and ISDN2 service;
  7. IP (Fibre) service; and
  8. Installation, testing and commissioning of network Equipment, including but not limited to Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (“SDH”), Carrier Ethernet (“CE”) and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (“DWDM”) Equipment, to deliver the End-Customer Services.
  9. Ensure the End-Customer(s) sign(s) off on the service form;
  10. Provide test results after commissioning of End-Customer Services;
  11. Carry out troubleshooting and maintenance Services at End-Customer Premises and Data Centres;
  12. Perform recovery of Customer Equipment or End-Customer’s Equipment at End-Customer Premises and Data Centres;
  13. Perform housekeeping of Main Distribution Frame (MDF) room at End-Customer Premises and Data Centres;
  14. Attend to provisioning and maintenance Services’ requests after Business Hours or on public holiday upon receiving the Customer’s request;
  15. Perform provisioning and maintenance Services at End-Customer Premises, or any other duties as assigned by Customer;
  16. Support End-Customer Services’ maintenance, where copper management skillset is required. Copper management skillset includes and it is not limited to the understanding of DP pair allocation, knowledge on HDSL NTU or Exponential Linear Unit on repeater, configure modem;
  17. Upon alerting the FE to arrive on-Site, the Supplier’s Personnel shall respond and arrive at the End-Customer Premises and commence to restore the faulty circuit to working condition by performing the following:
  18. Perform modem or router ping test with the Operation Centres, to restore the circuit to working condition;
  19. Carry out the isolation and rectification of line faults by tracing, re-connecting or re-wiring the existing wires(s) at the Customer or End-Customer Premises, DP or Cabinet;
  20. Perform testing of cable loss and continuity from the DP or Cabinet to the public exchange and changing of DP pair;
  21. After isolating at the DP, further isolation may be carried out at the Cabinet (in-house or outside the Cabinet);
  22. Carry out fibre patching and test the fibre loss to ensure readings are good;
  23. Inform the Personnel to activate fibre contractor to resolve last mile fibre and splicing issues; and
  24. Ensure the End-Customer signs off on the service form.
  25. Attend to provisioning and maintenance Services’ requests after Business Hours or on public holiday at the Customer’s request
  26. Perform provisioning and maintenance Services at the End-Customer premises or any other duties that are assigned by Customer to the Supplier.

 Requirements:

  •  Class 3 driving license
  • Copper management skillset includes and it is not limited to the understanding of DP pair allocation, knowledge on HDSL NTU or Exponential Linear Unit on repeater, configure modem;
