TECHNICAL QUOTE ENGINEER
We are looking for a high energy, motivated, result driven individual with strong work ethics and integrity to join our team.
The Technical Quote Engineer will be responsible for developing Make-Buy BOMs to support the Quoting process.
Use their technical knowledge of the manufacturing process, technical documents, instructions and Bills of Materials to support quote proposals.
This is an individual contributor position requiring self-motivated person with analytical skills.
The main activity for this position requires extensive desk work involving Bill of Material structure, drawing review and sorting, and technical information review.

What you will do
- Interpret complex Bills of Material structures and provide analysis of the manufacturing process elements.
- Creates Bills of Materials structure with Make/Buy and commodity analysis.
- Ensure effective dissemination of appropriate technical information within the quote teams.
- Review and analyze quote packages on new business as well as redesigns of existing business within established deadlines.
- Detailed technical review of customer documentation as necessary
- Make sound and accurate judgements based on experience and knowledge; interpret detailed and sometimes poorly defined information.
- Perform data package review for completeness and generate issue list to discuss with internal & external customers.
- Interface with customer to obtain information needed to develop an accurate quote.
- Review quote cost information for cost accuracy of labor and/or materials.
- To implement continuous improvements and cost reduction programs
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
