Job Description:

• Provide systems engineering and operational support for the IT infrastructure components including but not limited to Window Servers 2016, Windows 10 and VMware VCenter
• Handle all escalations on system, network and applications and attend to faults, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software technical problems.
• Manage and maintain an up to date IT assets and patch information list, network diagrams, system requests and documented processes for the operations and maintenance of the platforms
• Develop and improve instrumentations to monitor the health and availability of the systems-related infrastructure, Experience with monitoring tools, e.g Solarwinds etc
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, e.g. updating of relevant security devices, applying critical patches to operating systems, applications, etc.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth operations of all services
• Responsible for the quality, reliability and availability of the infrastructure

Job Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer, Engineering or related discipline
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent practical experience in Windows administration
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server services in Administering Active Directory Domain services, Group Policy, Microsoft DNS and DHCP services
• Strong knowledge with virtualization technology, VMware ESXi, VCenter etc
• Good technical knowledge in analysing, troubleshooting, diagnostics & problem solving skills
• Good knowledge in security controls and their integration and implementation with IT components and operations
• Certification that support the above experience and skills would be added advantage Eg MCSE, CCNA, VCP, etc
• Resourceful, take initiatives and ownership at work, and ability to work without supervision, taking personal responsibilities and accountability
