Job Description:

• Managing and monitoring all site installed systems and infrastructure
• Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Upgrade of existing operating system and software.
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes. Install security patches.
• Maintain security setting, backup and restore of OS, and redundancy strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 2 years’ experience in system/Network Engineer.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows, UNIX /Linuxbased environments. Implementing Hardening of machine and network device base on CIS benchmark guideline.
• Proven track records of Network device configuration fine tuning such as Router, Switch and Firewall. Prefer with CISCO CCNA certificate.
• Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, VLAN,STP.VTP etc) is a must.
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python) is a big plus.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware vsphere, Virtual Box) will be advantages.
• Able to work effectively and independently in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Self-starter and team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team work spirit.
