Job Description:
- Provide multi-level remote IT support for multiple ifm customers in the Asia Pacific Region
- Supporting of ifm products and solutions (public and private-cloud, on-prem)
- Document, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve incidents and requests through to completion
- Qualifying of software bugs and new customer requirements
- To prepare instructions/documentation/procedures for internal use
- Propose, implement and support various IT solutions
- Supporting developers and product management in field tests and market launches of new ifm products
Requirements:
- A BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in a Help Desk environment installing, upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting hardware,software, networking and other IT related solutions
- Experience in administration of Microsoft Windows Server or Linux Systems
- Good basic knowledge about IT networks and prevalent network protocols
- Preference to automate processes with script languages
- Experience in working with cloud platforms and services such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services are
- Experience with administration of databases such as PostgreSQL, InfluxDB will be added advantage
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the company
- An enthusiastic, positive, and ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented and the ability to multitask and demonstrate strong organization
