Job Description:
- Ensure service availability and reliability by working with Developers and System Engineering team
- Promote and develop efficient automated operation and maintenance, management tools, and improve operation and maintenance efficiency by reducing operation cost
- Set up, configure, automate, and maintain services in Linux environment
- Write scripts, tools, services for service quality analysis, monitoring and operation
- Efficiently manage thousands of server instances
- Re-engineer and document processes
- Carefully assess and adopt new technologies and tools to improve efficiency
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or relevant field
- Good understanding of operating system principles, computer networks and other computer science fundamentals
- Familiar with Linux operating system principles and network layer protocols
- Familiar with Python and Golang, or at least one of the programming languages such as C++, C, Java, Perl, Php, Shell, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Innovative and passionate in process optimization, operation and maintenance development
- Meticulous, good time management and able to work under pressure
- Good communication skill, execution ability and strong sense of responsibility
- Working experience in Linux environment is an added advantage
- Familiar with open source software and server hardware, strong troubleshooting and debugging skills are added advantage
