Key Responsibilities includes, but not limited to:
- Support onsite operational activities for large campuses / enterprises – Wired Wireless & Data centre network environment
- Responsible for network scripting, network device backup scripting on Unix / Linux OS.
- Should take lead in handling complex issues and identify root cause.
- Engineers (CCNP) should have to provide Wireless network optimization and resolve Wireless network issues.
- Perform Analysis &troubleshoot with relevant tools like Air-magnet Wi-Fi analyser, Air-magnet Spectrum Analyzer & Wi-Fi
- Use network analyser/sniffing tools such as Sniffer, Wireshark and Ethereal for troubleshooting network issues and work on the packet dumps/traces produced by such tools.
- Responsible for project management, vendor management and provide 24/7 support when needed.
Required Candidate profile:
- Ideal candidates will be from Cisco TAC and has prior experience in Big university campus.
- Should have experience in structure cabling technologies and data centre cabling methodologies.
- Must be capable of mounting switches and carry weighted equipment.
- Should have experience on Enterprise Wired & Wireless network either on Cisco / Alcatel.
- Required to be physically fit and experienced to work at height up to three (3) meters.
- Knowledge in tracing cable and Network device power requirements.
- Must be able to speak confidently and able to conduct presentations.
- Basic Knowledge about servers (Wintel and Linux and virtualization) is beneficial.
- Must have experience working with Cisco N9K, C-3560, C-3560X, C-3650, C-6500 and Alcatel 6K switches
- CCNP is required / ITIL foundation certification preferable
