Job Description:
- Conduct research, develop, modify, analyze and evaluate robotic technology, systems or prototypes.
- Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of mechatronic systems.
- Design or program automated robotic systems to improve / increase production volume, precision, quality or speed in manufacturing operations, reducing waste and costs.
- Integrate robotics with peripherals, such as controllers, sensors or other equipment.
- Build, configure, install, calibrate, and test and robotic application.
- Provide technical support for robotic systems, investigating hardware failures or unexpected problems.
Requirements:
- Education – Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computing, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics)
- Experience – Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Skill – Project management tools, Office suite software, and CAD software
- Design — 3D models, DFM, technical drawings, circuit diagrams
- Systems Analysis — Determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes
- Engineering and Technology — Practical application of engineering science and technology, applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various robot arms for various applications.
- Knack for Complex problem solving
- Creative thinking & visualisation.
