Job Description:
- Coordinate with production on daily basis to ensure high quality products are produced.
- Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
- Develop operational strategies to achieve production and quality objectives.
- To develop and maintain good lean manufacturing practices like 5S, Poka Yoke at production.
- Responsible for production tooling management.
- Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency.
- Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
- Provides training and guidance to production technicians and operators periodically.
- Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
- Develop best practices to improve production capacity, and quality.
- Work closely with QA to investigate problems and perform root cause analysis and derive resolutions.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in manufacturing engineering.
- Inexperienced Diploma/Degree holders are welcome to apply.
- Knowledge in project management, engineering tools & problem-solving methodology.
- Good communication, strong leadership, interpersonal and project management skill.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good knowledge in injection molding is a plus.
