Responsibilities:
Perform PCB design from schematic capture, footprint creation, placement, routing to
Gerber generation.
Work as to team to undertake product engineering and design
Provide technical expertise on PCB and product design to customers.
Liaise with vendors on PCB issues.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical proposals and
decisions
Verify new internal design tools and feedback to development team
Develop design process to reduce design cycle time and to terminate defect.
Create design and manufacturing documents
PCB physical design (parts placement, routing, TLA, verification etc.)
Liaise with contract manufacturers to turn-around prototypes, engineering samples
and for mass-production
Requirements:
Diploma / B.Eng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Minimum 3~5 years PCB Design experience is essential. Fresh grads with strong
interest and know-how are welcome to apply.
Experience in complex design of up to 10 layers
Proficiency in PADS, Mentor Graphics Expedition, AutoCAD & CAM350 is essential;
Details oriented and can take initiative to perform in a fast paced work environment
without needing step-by-step defined work instructions
Adaptable and able to accomplish project turn around within short lead time
