Job Description:

  • To lead the Building Maintenance Department with 25 support staff (admin & technicians) at International Plaza which is a 50- storey mixed development (Shops/Office/Apartments).
  • To provide facilities support pertaining to ACMV systems, Fire Alarm system, Building Automation System (BAS), Plumbing and Sanitary system and general building maintenance to ensure uninterruptible supply of related facilities at the required performance level and specifications.
  • Manage monthly expenses to be within budget and in line with spending forecast.
  • Carry out preventive, predictive & reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and troubleshooting of systems in order to restore systems to their operating conditions in the shortest possible time
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate spares, consumables and other resources necessary to ensure adequate provision is maintained for uninterruptible facility operation
  • Ensure contractors and vendors abide by contractual requirements, authority regulations and legal requirements in carrying out site works
  • Attend to feedback by tenants/ clients, to take remedial actions and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Ensure all preventive maintenance programs for all M&E equipment/Specialist System  comply with relevant legislations and safe work procedures
  • Project responsibility:
  • Liaise with appointed consultants and contractors on projects planning, execution and handover
  • Submit weekly report to General Manager and highlight achievement of project milestones, missed project milestones and challenges ahead and obtain direction to overcome the challenges and strive to timely project completion.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Green Mark Facility Manager/Professional preferred
  • Pro-active and strong leadership skills to drive and motivate the team
  • Effective influencing, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Building Facilities Management
  • Preferably Manager specialized in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent.
