Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of Engineers, Leaders and Manufacturing Assistants to process wafers to meet operation’s needs
  • Work closely with top management to establish clear direction and timely execution
  • Support the daily operations in production planning to meet department’s goal
  • Plan, dispatch and set clear direction in prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance of tools and production capacity
  • Establish plans and procedures for WIP and Test Wafer Management
  • Timely schedule of starts, commit and expedite delivery
  • Set targets, goals and projects to maintain high turn ratio, manning ratio and line linearity
  • Work with the operations department to improve delivery and production cycle time
  • Identify and highlight issues to the management
  • Lead, coordinate and execute improvement programs in manufacturing operations
  • Facilitate, lead or participate in cost reduction and productivity improvement projects
  • Forecast financials budgets for materials such as test wafers, SMIF pods and production tools
  • Ensure proper documentation and data-integrity
  • Ensure safety, discipline and housekeeping compliance by all personnel and take actions on violators
  • Provide guidance and training to team to achieve maximum performance effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or any relevant professional qualifications
  • 6-10 years of working experience in semiconductor industry
  • Experience in lean manufacturing
  • Experience in managing cross-functional sections is an added advantage
  • Possess knowledge of wafer fabrication process, equipment configurations & WPH and semiconductor process flow
  • Familiar in Microsoft business applications
  • Team player with strong analytical skills in providing insights or solutions on line management issues/ improvements
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills and able to work with people at all levels
