Job Description of Finance Manager
- Operational month and year end closing (full set)
- GL, AR, AP accounting/reporting and analysis and ensuring timely monthly closure of GL books of accounts per timelines
- Ensure Company’s finance transaction processes are in compliance with the relevant regulations and policies
- Corporate, withholding tax and GST filing
- Responsible for the audits of 4 entities
- Journals preparation, weekly cashflow forecasts and assist in statutory filings
- Cultivate a continuous improvement mentality in the team
Planning and Analysis
- Monthly income statements, balance sheets and Controller’s Letters with commentaries and variances reports
- Rolling forecast updates
- Set office budgets for each financial period and discuss progress as per monthly reports
- Year-end budgets
- Engage in monthly management meeting, work in progress and accounts receivable meetings
Business processes
- Implement systems to drive good compliance and financial accountability in line with the Getz Policy
- Ensure financial systems, processes and timeframes are understood and followed by all staff
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting to Global Finance team
Job Requirements
- Strong business partnering skills with Management and Heads
- Flexibility in mind with strong communication skills
- Finance in project accounting, building, interior fitting industry experience preferred
- Chartered Accountant with bachelor’s degree in Finance
- At least 10 years of working experience in similar capacity (managing a team of finance staff)
- Strong continuous improvement mindset
- Track record of managing both internal and external stakeholders through strong working relationships
- Excellent team and project management skills
