Job Description
• Provide services pertaining to the full spectrum of operational finance activities including compliance and statutory accounting, tax accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivables, assets accounting, treasury accounting, other financial resources accounting and statutory/statistical returns for the Company and its Subsidiaries (including cross-border territories).
• Prepare information for the smooth completion of various audits including interim and annual audits by external auditors, internal audits, government audits, parent company related audits for the Company and its Subsidiaries (including cross-border territories).
• Prepare reports pertaining to full spectrum of management accounting activities including budgeting, budgetary control, treasury management, forecasting, flash reports, quantitative and qualitative management reporting and management of investments and foreign exchange, to enable management to make financially informed decisions.
• In support of tender bid submissions and/or offers and acceptance, develop financial package, budget, price, payment milestones, evaluations of risk/opportunities and other qualitative recommendations.
• Support tender bid submissions and/or offers and acceptance process by conducting research (for e.g. on foreign tax regulations), sourcing for grants and incentives, and preparing standardized documents pertaining to financial package, budget, price, payment milestones, evaluations of risk/opportunities and other qualitative recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of contract documents and/or agreements with clients and suppliers.
• Implement financial and corporate governance policies and assist in development of procedures.
• Maintain financial statistics, surveys and research information.
Job Requirements
• CPA/CA, Degree in Accountancy/ Finance from a university acceptable by the Company.
• Minimum 6 years of past qualification relevant working experience.
• Strong business acumen; excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills.
• Meticulous, organised and able to work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with construction contracts and FRS11 accounting.
