Job Description:
- Be responsible for maintaining the QB Foods physical facility in all areas of the building along with the built-in functional equipment
- Combine contractor resources and in-house talent to maintain the following
- Refrigeration and air-con systems
- Electrical, air and water utilities
- Lifts and other built-in functional equipment
- Flooring and other surfaces that require periodic repair
- Build or assemble equipment to improve productivity in the facility or support the business
- Past examples of thawing fans, label dispensers, etc.
- Coffee machine refurbishing
- Backup role of coffee and machine technical help – support when other technical people are on leave.
- Work together well with others at QB to develop and maintain strong relationships – always with an eye toward helping QB Foods win in the marketplace.
- Identify and recommend tools and equipment needed for the work shop to upgrade our ability to repair or build equipment and parts.
Requirements:
- 20+ years of technical experience in machine repair, service and troubleshooting
- Fluency in PLC interfaces and electrical wiring
- Consistent professional growth, potential and desire for further development
- Strong communication skills with ability to instill confidence and trust
