RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and monitor the daily affairs of the Engineering department and lead the projects teams of engineers / drafters on the related projects to ensure successful, cost-effective and timely project delivery.
- Maintaining quality control and ensuring the works are carried out in accordance with the projects specifications, etc.
- Provide technical solutions to projects for precast related matters.
- Work closely under General Manager for engineering related matters.
- To work closely with the internal departments in the company to ensure the smoothness in the operation of the projects.
- PE endorsements of proposals, designs and drawings.
- BCA ST submissions for design of precast components and for supervision of production of precast concrete components.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned by the top management.
- Manage the Project Team.
- Assist in Marketing on technical proposals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Professional Civil or Structural Engineer with the PE Board of Singapore
- Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
- Experience in precast design and production
- Basic knowledge and application in BIM
- Min. 5 years relevant experience in managing the design department with a team of engineers and drafters.
- Understand the local building codes, especially Eurocode design and authorities requirements.
- Independent, dedicated, hardworking and team player.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Able to interface and liaise with Clients / Consultants / Contractors / Government agencies and Suppliers.
- Willing to travel between Singapore and Malaysia
