Duties/Areas of Responsibility
Assist and support project team members in completing the project
Determine budget, project schedules and scope of work and deploy appropriate staff
Study and assess drawings, plans, specifications and other documents relating to
construction project
Direct, lead and support other engineering skilled personnel in managing and
executing multiple tasks and projects
Review, assess and evaluate execution of the project on a regular basis
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues arising in a project
Carry out site visits throughout the project in order to record information on the
progress of the project against the agreed programme
Verification of material requisition and taking-off quantities / site measurement
Attend to site tests and inspections
Ensuring quality standards and all health & safety requirements are adhered to
Ensure completion of the project in a timely manner and within the budgetary limits
Preparation of progress payment claims and variation orders
Preparation of subcontractors award schedule
Develop project reports on a timely basis
Maintain, manage and document all project reports and statements
Other related duties, as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Possess adequate qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Direct work experience within construction industry
Experience in handle multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of codes, standards and procedures
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, Helpdesk application, etc
Working Conditions
Work place could be an office, a site or a production area and may have to work around
heavy machinery or at heights. May require occasionally evening and weekend work.
