Duties & Responsibilities
- Frequently need to travel to the project site in order to perform thorough inspections
- Inspections can be focused on electrical systems, structural integrity, materials used, safety codes and industry standards
- Responsible in maintaining client relationships is a big part of a Commissioning Engineer’s job
- Responsible in making sure that all expenses stay under budget
- Understanding and involved in the execution of the project scope, contract agreement
- Independently conduct construction progress inspections
- Independently conduct commissioning inspections and execute commissioning tests based on documented procedures
- Identifying system conditions that are abnormal, to determining their cause, and to recommend corrective actions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years and above in Oil & Gas and Marine Industries
- Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Electrical, Instrument/Telecommunication, Mechanical/Process disciplines
- Able to work well in teams
- Able to communicate well with others
- Able to complete the assigned assessment and tasks of a Commissioning Engineer
