Key Activities/ Key management activities:
- Prepare and analyze financials, management and statutory reports to statutory boards and HQ.
- Maintain the accounting system
- Liaise and consolidate with other depts on variance analysis, budget tracking and resolve issues
- Guide/coach staff to ensure their works are of high standard complying to current policies and procedures.
- Involve and adhere internal controls procedures and policy to improve efficiency.
- Review all reconciliation schedules, journal and payment vouchers, audit schedules, non-trade invoice listings, GST/MES, with-holding and corporate tax computations, etc
- Other tasks as assigned
- Financial reporting, including P&L, BS and Cashflows.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission to Head Office and statutory boards
- Analyse actual results to budget and forecast.
- Support to conduct internal audit of subsidiaries + MLAP.
- Ensure timely closing of accounts to include revenue and cost are taken up. (monthly/quarterly/yr end).
- Adhoc task in Admin as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Accounting/ ACCA or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience or combined experience in similar capacity - Knowledge of Accounting Standards and Tax
- Knowledge of corporate & office compliance matters
