Job Description:

  •  Purchasing for warehouse stock, repair parts, customers and affiliated companies
  • Working with suppliers on order fulfillment, generate documents for inbound shipments and direct shipments to affiliated companies, and processing of supplier billing
  • Receiving and checking of inbound shipments. There will be some handling of lightweight cargo (picking / packing / unpacking etc.)
  • Ensure that orders/repairs/warranty are accurately recorded and maintained, and also fulfilled within lead time
  •  Liaising with customers on deliveries / shipment and updating of order status on request
  • Coordinating and generating documents for deliveries to local customers with transporters etc.
  • Coordinating and generating documents for shipments to overseas customers with forwarders / couriers etc.
  • Generate invoices to customers for advance payments, completed deliveries and service completion
  • For local repairs / warranty claims, to communicate with customers and engineers on return of defectives to office
  •  For repairs / warranty claims to HQ, additional communications with HQ and forwarder / courier for outbound shipping, inbound receiving, and generating / processing ofshipping documents
  •  Answering customer queries on order status (if any)
  • Other ad hoc duties as and when required: Eg. Filing, Customer Goods Waiting Shipment stock tally, etc

Requirements: 

  • Min 1-2 years of working experience in order and shipping processing
  • Documents are mainly processed through SAP and Microsoft applications, proficiency in these systems will be an added advantage. Otherwise on the job training will be provided.
  • Familiar with shipping incoterm, knowledge of Letter of Credit is an added advantage
  • Sense of urgency in managing customers’ requests
  • Able to work independently and within tight schedule
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and planning skills
  • Able to commence immediately or within short notice
  • You will be assigned to servicing department to support day-to-day operations
  • Handle purchases, shipping and billing for sales, repairs / service jobs and warranty claims
