Key Roles and responsibilities:

  • Answering employee questions and providing customer service to organization employees
  • Serving as a point of contact with benefit vendors/administrators
  • Participating in recruitment efforts;well versed in recruitment process and various recruitment channels and resources
  • Posting job ads, organizing resumes, job applications, scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
  • Ensuring background and reference checks are completed
  • Enhance/devise HR policies and well verse in regulated government bodies rules and regulations
  • Processing payroll, which includes ensuring vacation and sick leave are tracked in the system (including facilitating resolutions to any payroll errors)
  • Maintaining and updating current HR files, all employee matters and databases
  • Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exist interviews

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in human resources management, business administration or relevant experience in related field
  • Must be adept at problem-solving, including being able to identify /resolve issues effectively
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings
  • Must be able to prioritize, organized and plan work activities and to use time efficiently
  • Able to work independently, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
