Responsibilities:

 

1. Maintain vessels to the requirement of Classification Society, Flag state, Port State, Oil majors and state regulations that the vessels are plying.
2. Execute planned maintenance system and ensure compliance.
3. Approve and monitor repairs, prepare purchase order and works order.
4. Prepare dry-docking / repair specifications and monitor work progress.
5. Maintain vessel allocated budget and meet operational standard as required by Owners.
6. Carry out internal audits, risk assessment, incident investigation and closing out report.
7. Attend to all inspections by Class Society, Flag State, Port State, Underwriters and Oil Majors.
8. Liaise with Terminal Representative, Charterers, Agents, Operators and Fujairah Freezone Official.
9. At the Fujairah branch office, to be the first point of contact for vessel matters.
10. Assist Crew Department in coordinating crew matters.

 

Requirements:

• COC Class 1 or 2 holders with sailing experience on product tankers
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience ashore as a Technical Superintendent in tanker companies
• must be willing to travel abroad ( Fujairah ) on a rotational basis
• Familiar with Oil Majors vettings and inspections  requirements
• Analytical, able to work independently, results oriented, resourceful and pro-active
