Storekeeper / Material Handler

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
• To maintain inventory by identifying, labeling and recording location of materials
• To retrieve and pack materials timely and accurately according to the delivery orders
• To receive materials returned by the clients by verifying the materials’ codes, shades and quantity and if the materials are in good conditions
• To load and unload materials using material handling equipment
• To maintain material-handling equipment
• To assist in stock-taking and ensuring zero discrepancy in actual stock and recorded data
• To perform general housekeeping and ensure that warehouse’s conditions are well maintained
• To ensure that professional and quality customer service standard is delivered to the customers or vendors at all times
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
• Forklift license;
• Experience with reach truck;
• Experience in dealing with tiles would be preferred;

Here are the few criteria that my management would want to highlight:

1. Forklift license is a must and needs to be verified prior to interview;
2. Reach trick is a plus but not a pre-requisite;
3. Driving license of class 3 or 4 or 5 is advantageous but not essential;
4. Ability to handle tiles and pack cartons of tiles.
