Main Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of vessel budget
- Operational and technical management of vessels
- Planned maintenance and dry docks, including full documentation
- Safety, manning and class compliance
- Flag state, marine and regulatory compliance
- Maintaining vessels readiness and availability
- Liaison with owners, charterers, port control
REQUIREMENTS
- COC Class 1 (Engine)
- Min 2 years as Chief Engineer (FG) on tankers
- And 1 year as shore based Technical Superintendent
- Demonstrable experience in successful vessel operations, dry docks, maintenance and various inspections
- Highly skilled in PMS, SMS, Vetting, Flag, Class & TMSA requirements.
- Team player, good organization and communication skills
- Proactive with strong people skills to deal with demanding owners
- Prove ability to multitask and manage multiple projects/ stakeholders / priorities concurrently
- Able to travel at short notice
