Key Responsibilities:
- Generating fire protection life safety code analyses
- Performing sprinkler system shop drawing plan reviews
- Performing hydraulic and seismic bracing calculation reviews
- Performing site inspections and generating field reports
- Evaluates the fire resistance of building and structures
- Generating narratives, cost estimates, and performing calculations
- Able to read Construction drawings & Fire Protection drawings.
- Able to understand CP & SS Fire code.
- Planning & coordinate of Fire Installation to comply Fire Code.
- Submit monthly progress claim.
- Coordinating fire protection features with other disciplines
- Attending meetings, compiling report data, and supporting presentations to managers and clients
- Being a dependable team player ready to learn and assist in whatever capacity is needed
- Reviewing existing building plans and construction site plans to ensure compliance with fire protection codes and standards
- Risk assessment and management, determining the likely causes of fire and ways to improve prevention
Requirements
- Knowledge and experience in design and inspection of fire protection sprinkler systems
- Minimum 3 years significant working practiced managing Fire Protection / Construction installation and management
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience using AutoCAD and Revit preferred
- Capable of interacting professionally with clients and working collaboratively with a team
- Interest in developing and/or expanding your career in fire protection design
