M&E Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out conceptual design for MEP Services
• Collaborate with Design Team for technical proposal
• Obtain quotation for tendering project and award contract to Sub-Contractor
• Attend Site Meeting and liaise with various stakeholders (client, subcontractor, etc) to ensure M&E work progress to meet datelines
• Ensure compliance of statutory regulations & contractual obligations

1. i)             Manage drawings/documentation for submission to the Authorities including coordination with external PE/QP

• Commissioning & Handover

1. i)             Carry out testing and commissioning of M&E and IT works
2. ii)            Conduct handover inspection

iii)           Complete defect rectification and obtain endorsement from client

1. iv)           Collate & compile As-Built drawings, Fire Safety Certificate to client/landlord

• Provide excellent service and build a strong relationship with clients

 

ABILITIES,  SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE (ASK)

• Diploma /Degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
• >2 years M&E experience in interior design/construction industry is advantageous
• Competent in site management of M&E systems with knowledge of government regulations on M&E installations

Other features of job (eg. Shift or night work, other work conditions)

• Requires travelling to various worksites in Singapore
• Requires to perform night work/weekends when need arises
