Job Description:
- Deploy, configure, manage, and maintain virtualized infrastructure (VMware/Hyper-V), including storage systems.
- Create documentation, perform root cause analysis, quickly identify trends and recommend possible solutions.
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, and software related issues.
- Serve as a primary support and maintenance resource for customers.
- Perform required maintenance off hours and support 24×7 operations.
- Participate in requirements gathering.
- Present and promote solutions and services to highlight value add.
Requirements:
- 2+ year’s experience in virtualization technology
- Knowledge of server systems, storage systems, virtualization technologies and networking
- Knowledge of datacenter route/switch technology, backup/recovery in a virtual environment
- Understanding of active directory architecture, DNS administration
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong coordination and project skills
- Strong customer experience mindset, listening, understanding and responding to customer needs
- Assess and evaluate current virtual computing infrastructure, and provide recommendations for enhancements
