EDUCATION / TRAINING:
- Degree in Engineering / Science or equivalent
- Min. 1 year of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Process Audit
- Trained in ISC:9000 / Internal Quality Audit Trainings

- Meticulous and self-motivated • Able to work independently and work well under pressure
- Able to use CMM, Smartscope, Quick Vision, AutoCAD and interpret technical drawing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the accomplishment of construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Act as the main QAQC adviser on project site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives
- Prepare and plan QAQC procedures and documents for the project/ works
- Attend to and prepare for any quality inspection required for the works
- Formulate and implement a quality assurance program for the worksite including but not limited to training, assessment and implementation to ensure quality works on site
- Maintain, formulate and follow through quality assurance system and follow through the audit requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION: QA / QC ENGINEER
- Advise and monitor the operation team for quality execution of the works on site
- Liaise with Clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors/ vendors with regards to quality execution and planning of the works
- Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws in relation to quality
- Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of quality aspects of the works
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site supervisory crew, labour force and the work of any subcontractors to ensure quality execution of the works
- Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site;
- Preparing reports as required;
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents/ drawings supplied by the client, architect or consultant;
