Job Description:
- Development, maintain and improvement of VIS production automation system.
- Maintain and improve related hardware and software of automated material handling system.
- Act as a lecturer in the department’s internal training courses.
- Draft the Operations Instruction of automation systems and equipment control systems.
- Evaluate and accept the functions of new automation systems.
- Planning, design and management of automated system databases where applicable.
- Troubleshooting of abnormal events for all hardware and software related to automation systems.
- Assist process and equipment engineers to clarify product or equipment related issues.
- Maintain and improve statistical process control systems
- 24 x 7 support incident investigation (If required).
Job Requirements:
- Good presentation and project schedule control skills.
- Coding experience in Equipment automation or Manufacturing execution system or SPC related system’s function enhancement and development is a plus.
- Knowledge of at least one OOP language (e.g. Java, C++, C#, VB)
- Working knowledge of at least one of the following: SECS/GEM, Socket, IBM MQ communication is a plus.
- Previous working experience of CAMSTAR or CAMLINE development is a plus
