Responsibilities:
i. Liaising with freight forwarders, direct customers and overseas agency for outgoing and incoming shipments.
ii. Support the export/import/sales manager and covering his/her duties in their absence.
iii. Any documentation duties as per instruct by your superior.
iv. Attending to phone calls and email enquiries on Air/Ocean freight for both FCL/LCL Bookings.
v. Preparation of Booking confirmation, Bill of Lading, insurance, invoices and pre-alerts for overseas agents.
vi. Liaising with shipper, carriers, co-loader, transporter and warehouse for the transfer of cargo from suppliers
warehouse to the stuffing warehouse.
vii. Coordinating or negotiating rates agents/carrier/co-loaders on the export rates.
viii. Planning of container stuffing for LCL consolidation.
ix. Data entry of various shipment information into the system.
x. Working/support closely with Sales and operation team.
xi. Manage and maintain smooth daily operations
xii. Support the sales and managers.
xiii. Any documentation duties as per instruct by your superior.
Requirements
No Experience required / Training provided
Qualification min GCE “N” level and above
Out spoken and willing to take learn new knowledge about logistics and Freight Forwarding
Initiative, creative, problem solver & Self motivated
Able to multi task and work independently
