Job description:

  • Identifying new Service Revenue opportunities and Service programs  through our installed base and Channel Partners.
  • Ensure a healthy Service bookings funnel and set short-term and long-term goals for the region Local Sales Office (LSO) service teams.
  • Proactively engage in daily service activities such as customer service proposals, service pricing, troubleshooting discussions with factories, service marketing, service trainings, promoting  technology and application service sales with customers and LSO.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting (weekly/monthly) to  management team on regional Field Service strategy and installed based plans.
  • Develops and drive LSO installed based services, long-term service agreements, Extended-Warranty program, local service agreements and key account plans by working together with in-country sales leaders and service team.
  • Able to work onsite with our Field Services (technically) and provide hands-on guidance in managing third-party service contractors to assist LSO as and when required.
  • sponsors with customer or Channel Partners. Implement and utilize internal systems such as CRM, ERPLN Service Module, Microsoft Dynamics Field
  • Service Assignment tools to maintain service warranty, service jobs and & manage sales service funnel .
  • Monitor, analyse field service activities and strategies  including competitor’s displacement and legacy replacement.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering or with minimum of 3 Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Technology.
  • 8 or more years as Field Service engineer or in related application experience, preferably in process instrumentation and metering in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
  • Willing to travel for site service requirement (onshore & offshore – platforms / vessel / shipyards).
  • Possess a valid driving license and must be willing to make field visits onsite to assess service issues and opportunities.
  • Familiar in measuring principle such as Flow Dynamics (Mass Flow/EMF/Vortex/USM), Level Measurement
  • (Non-contact Radar / Guided Wave), Temperature, Pressure, Field Analyzer etc.
  • Understand basic process control systems (DCS / RTUs / PLCs / Flow Comp.) and basic communication protocol principles.
  • Good Leadership in managing service personnel and customer needs. Excellent communication & influencing skills.
  • Positive attitude, willing to learn from others and prior experience working in a fast-paced matrix-organization.
