Key Skills & Responsibilities
• Understand customer requirement to design or modify product to provide Added
Value (AV) Solution based on design criteria and procedure
• Maintain an in depth knowledge of all products in order to identify and select the
most suitable product for Engineering Solution design.
• Proposed AV or modified solution and quotes to sales/customer requirements.
• Electrical circuit and schematic design
• Bill of materials (BOM) creation
• Breadboard and prototype samples making and debugging
• Design new solution/product within standard design practice, safety guidelines,
agreed timescales and costs.
• Performed product (AV and modified model) verification and validation, such as
electrical performance, thermal, EMC and DVT evaluations , to ensure product meet
specification before delivered to customer.
Knowledge/Qualifications/Attributes
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic or higher degree in a related
engineering field.
• More than 5 years electrical design experience of power supply
• Good project management skill
• Familiarity with PCB design using Altium/PADS will be an added advantage.
• Requires good communication, reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills.
